Multi-component customization
Tpm is today able to produce customized multi-part components in different types of plastic and metallic materials. A unique feature that makes Tpm’s production suitable for a variety of applications in different sectors. In practice, Tpm’s manufacturing system consists in the superposition of different production phases in a single cycle.
It uses a still niche technology designed specifically for the creation of technical parts made up of different materials, plastic polymers, rubber and metallic parts with up to four components, that allows for significant savings in terms of energy, manpower and production time. The result is a complex, finished component, ready for use and with lower costs than for one created with traditional methods of assembly, welding and composition.
Overmoulding of metallic parts
Tpm uses rotary tablet presses that allow for the loading of metal parts into which polymer can be injected in superposition of the injection itself, both through automatic and semi-automatic processes. Also in this case, the overlap effect leads to a more efficient process and a less expensive product.
Co-design
Clients can rely completely on Tpm thanks to a co-design system. Indeed, when the feasibility study indicates that it’s impossible to satisfy a client’s request, Tpm proposes a design mode that takes advantage of the know-how of both Tpm and the client.
